One of the "Great Rarities" collection and rightfully so. The CSA script watermark on the 312 is rarer than the Wookey Hole watermark on the 314. Serial Number 1575 - it is shown as # 2 on the Condition Census at an XF. However PCGS grades it an Almost New 50 and adds a PPQ designation for the paper quality. For provenance, this note once belonged to Randy Shipley.
There are around nine 312's known. This is one of only three that have an August 26 date ( all others are August 30 ). I saw one other of the Aug 26 dates - it was a clone to this note. So this one has a twin somewhere. I have not seen the 3rd but I understand it is not as nice as the twins.
Also, the script watermark is the third of the T41 "Full Written Date'' notes.
