Plate letter CCC - thin paper. Only 192 of these notes were ever issued. Only 5 exist ( same as a J Green ) and one of those is in a museum.
This is serial number 85748 and is not on the current condition census. This variety is one of the "Great Rarities" collection and is ridiculously difficult to find. The last record I find of a sale was in 2005. PCGS grades it a VF 25 and it is uncancelled. As PCGS notes, it does have small repair over the "D" in "Confederate". One of the finest in private hands, it is a prize piece in my collection.
