The blue ink issuance reads " Issued Feb 21st 1863 JB Fulton Capt & AQM ".
Only three Fulton issued notes are thought to exist. The endorsement is really weak and takes enhancement or a strong pair of glasses to decipher. It took some time to determine that is was Fulton's signature because he scribbled it.
No other known document or note contains Fulton describing his post as AQM. In all others he is shown as CS (Commissary of Subsistence). This note is indeed unique.
A really pretty VF (PMG 30).
