The T18's were heavily counterfeited. Almost all can be recognized by the poor job in duplicating the sailors face, his hat, his beard, his left hand and the wave approaching the bow of the ship. The 107B is a good example of all 5 being incorrect. Tremmel gives this variety a Rarity 10 with a large jump in price past VG-F. The borders are full and almost perfectly uniform. It has too many folds for a VF. I would grade it either a Choice F+ or a Choice F-VF.
