A relatively rare note. It is countermarked NY in cursive. Technically the NY is a countermark and not a watermark.
This is one of the "Great Rarities" collection notes. I find it highly questionable why a note on paper marked NY (New York) should be a required part of a Confederate collection.
To show my contempt, I purposely bought one with a hole in it .
